Therapies

Many organizations and institutions have studied the effects of multiple sclerosis, with the mission of creating and spreading awareness about trustworthy and proven resources that could help those with multiple sclerosis, and their health care professionals, to find the best, most individualized treatment plan for the management of their condition.

Since the onslaught of new therapies is often confusing and overwhelming, both for clinicians and patients, this collaborative effort has provided better understanding to these individuals and, as such, better treatment for multiple sclerosis. Therapies under research include drugs such as Laquinimod, Fingolimod and Cladribine, as well as combinations of other approved drugs.
